This sword is a premium interpretation of the Vendel Grave 32 sword, inspired by the richly furnished warrior burials of Vendel-period Scandinavia (6th–7th century). Representing one of the earliest expressions of elite Northern European sword culture, the Vendel swords are known for their intricate hilt construction, symbolic ornamentation, and association with high-ranking warriors.

This version elevates the original design with a pattern-welded Damascus blade, echoing the complex forging techniques of early medieval swordsmiths. The flowing patterns within the steel evoke the layered construction seen in historic blades, where performance and artistry were inseparably linked.

The hilt retains the distinctive Vendel form, featuring a multi-part pommel and guard richly decorated with traditional motifs. In this variant, the fittings are cast in brass and finished in a refined antique black and silver tone, creating a striking contrast that enhances the sculptural details and lends the sword a more dramatic, aged character.
