A companion dagger reflecting the Knights Templar, the powerful crusading military order founded in the early 12th century and drawing many of its knights from England and France.
The Knights Templar were founded in the early 12th century as a Christian military order dedicated to protecting pilgrims travelling to the Holy Land, and they grew into one of the most powerful and wealthy institutions of the Medieval world, with a strong recruiting presence in England and France. Numerous Templar castles and churches survive across England today, physical testimony to the order's reach centuries after its 1312 suppression.
Deepeeka's reproduction recreates this companion dagger, part of our Medieval heritage range.
