The stonebow, a portable off-shoot of the crossbow, was arguably the most common variant, first mentioned in European sources in the 14th century.
More accurately described as a bullet-shooting crossbow, the stonebow saw genuine improvements over time, including greater power, a better lock mechanism, and an improved lever for drawing the bow. This deluxe version offers a higher-specification build than our standard stonebow.
Deepeeka’s reproduction recreates that historic bullet-shooting crossbow form, part of our historical archery range.
