The Xiphos was the primary short sword of the Greek hoplite — carried as a secondary weapon alongside the spear (doru), it was the blade a warrior drew when the spear broke or the phalanx dissolved into close-quarters fighting. This traditional version features a central-ribbed EN45 steel blade, brass hilt with threaded pommel and simple T-bar guard, and a leather-covered wooden scabbard.
