Landsknecht dagger (Solingen)
This Landknecht Dagger is based on a historical example from Solingen, Germany, and serves excellently as a companion piece to a Katzbalger sword or as the finishing piece to a Landsknecht ensemble. In a melee scrum, the stiff and thin blade will easily pierce thick clothing or gaps in an armored defense, and the wide S-guard provides much more hand protection than most daggers. The blade is made of tempered high carbon steel, while the guard and pommel are blackened steel. The dagger is finished with a well-carved wood grip and brass accents. The dagger comes with a thick leather scabbard and is finished with blued steel fittings and brass accenting. It can be worn thanks to the brass hanging rings. With this stage combat dagger in your hands, you’ll look like a mighty Viking.
