Imperial Italic ‘B’
Auxiliary Infantry archetypical early Imperial Italic B type helmet. A rounded bowl, brow reinforcement or “peak,” and narrow neck guard with a single embossed step, an embossed “faux visor”, and ear openings are protected by a turned-out flange are some of the features on this steel and brass trimmed helmet.
The best surviving example is in the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb.

The Falcata with horse head hilt is among the most visually distinctive sword forms of the ancient world — the forward-curving single-edged blade combining with the characteristic equine pommel to create a piece that was simultaneously a devastating fighting tool and a statement of Celtiberian aristocratic identity.
