The Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, England, holds the UK’s national collection of historic armour and military equipment, a collection that traces its roots back to the Tower of London before the museum’s purpose-built home opened at Leeds Dock in 1996; several longswords in the Gothic style are held and displayed there, informing this style of reproduction.
