  Drinking horns are among the oldest vessels in human history, used long before pottery or metal cups became widely available, since a hollowed animal horn was naturally watertight and required no firing or casting. They remained in genuine use well into the medieval period, especially at feasts, alongside carved wooden cups and mugs as everyday, accessible tableware. A matched fork and spoon in genuine horn brings that same natural material to a complete eating set, pairing naturally with our horn bowls and spoons.
