This reproduction of a Greek Argos bell muscle cuirass comes with front and back plates worked in brass, its simple, anatomically-formed style a genuine sign of the armour’s early date.
The bell cuirass represents one of the earliest developments of Greek muscle armour, taking its modern name from the bell-like flare at the waist, and this reproduction recreates that anatomical form entirely by hand. The two plates join with leather straps and strong hooks and eyes.
Deepeeka’s version is worked in 18-gauge brass, hand polished, and fits a medium to large chest size, suited to an Archaic Greek impression, re-enactment, or display.
