  Medieval Broadhead Arrowhead

  This arrowhead follows the broadhead pattern, similar to London Museum Type 1 and Jessop multipurpose type MP3.

  The broadhead’s angular blades made it a genuinely versatile head, used for both hunting and warfare throughout the medieval period, with finds spanning roughly the 10th through 16th centuries. Its wide cutting edge caused greater blood loss than a narrow bodkin, at some cost to armour penetration.
