Damascus Viking Bronze Hilt (Peterson Type D) Sword
Bronze Hilt Viking Sword dates to the early 9th to mid 10th centuries (Danish) with one of the many forms of three-lobed pommels and features a double edge blade with wide cental fuller. The grip, guard and pommel are made of cast bronze. The unsharpened blade is made of Damascus steel and is peened at the pommel for durability.This Viking sword is a replica of the sword found in the museum of Isle of Egg.It is completely usable for costume dressing and reenactment purposes.
